Rallying for the Passage of the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2023 – A Call to Arms for All CWOA Members

The time to act is now! As guardians of our nation's maritime interests, we understand better than anyone the importance of a well-supported U.S. Coast Guard. It's a matter of national security, a safeguard of our borders, and a keystone in ensuring the free flow of commerce that fuels our economy.

​Right now, we have before Congress H.R. 2741, the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2023, a pivotal legislation that promises to reinforce our ranks with the funding necessary to address critical mission capacities and infrastructure backlogs. However, this bill cannot pass into law without your active engagement.

We are calling on each of you, the proud members of the CWOA, to take immediate action. Reach out to your members of Congress and urge them to support this bill. Your voice carries the weight of our combined 3,300 members, and when joined with the chorus of over 40,000 active-duty personnel, it becomes impossible to ignore.
