My name is Aspen Aldama, and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Redlands. Through the Johnston Program, I am studying concentrated areas of business administration, political science, public policy, and finance. I have always been enthralled by the policies that shape our political landscape and change the conversations that occur not only in public but with politicians and policy-makers. Thus, this internship is essential for me to further my knowledge and experience in understanding legislation, and to provide support for the Coast Guard. I look forward to working with a well-esteemed staff to make this happen.
