By 1994, the Association had developed a comprehensive range of member benefits designed to support warrant officers and their families throughout active service and retirement. These benefits included:
• Supplemental insurance options to help bridge the gap between CHAMPUS or Medicare coverage and actual medical costs. Members also had access to low-cost term life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, and group health insurance plans. • Educational assistance through the CWO John A. Keller CW&WOA Scholarship Grant. Six annual grants of $750 were awarded to dependents of members pursuing higher education. • A death benefit program, with payouts based on years of membership, provided to designated beneficiaries. • A 50 percent discount on annual membership with the Boat Owners Association of the United States. • A monthly newsletter containing updates on military and legislative matters of importance to both active duty and retired members. These programs reflected the Association’s enduring commitment to professional advocacy, family support, and lifelong connection within the warrant officer community.
