Many of the Association’s original objectives remain relevant today. At the time of its founding, the stated goals of the organization were: • To support and cooperate with all Coast Guard activities.
• To promote mutual interest and efficiency among chief warrant and warrant officers through closer association and active participation in both social and service-related matters, thereby fostering esprit de corps. • To make an annual cash award, in an amount determined by vote, to enlisted member(s) in recognition of contributions to efficiency, including acts of heroism. • To confer honorary membership upon all retired warrant and chief warrant officers, remembering them especially during the holiday season with appropriate greetings and maintaining connection in order to bridge the gap between active duty and retirement. These early aims reflect the foundational values of unity, professional development, recognition of excellence, and lifelong connection within the warrant officer community.
