To the Members of the Chief Warrant and Warrant Officers Association, USCG,
As President of the CWOA, I am reaching out to you to announce that we are now accepting nominations for several key officer positions: Vice-President, Treasurer, and Vice President of Reserve Affairs. These roles are integral to guiding our Association forward, representing our members’ interests, and ensuring we remain a united voice for Chief Warrant Officers. Per our Association’s bylaws, only Regular Members in good standing who meet specific qualifications are eligible for these offices. This ensures that each officer is not only qualified but also fully committed to our mission and members. The requirements for each position are as follows:
To be considered for nomination, please submit your name (or the name of another eligible member) to me through the Association’s website no later than 30 November of this year. Nominees will have until 15 December to accept their nominations in order to be included on the ballot. We will mail the ballots to all members at least 60 days before the annual meeting, with votes due back to the Association Executive Director by 14 days before the meeting. Members can mail in their ballot or vote via the Association website. If you are passionate about the future of the CWOA and the broader Warrant Officer Corps, I strongly encourage you to consider running for office. By joining our Board, you will have the opportunity to influence the direction of our organization, advocate for our members, and contribute to the enduring strength and progress of our Association. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to the CWOA and to each other. I look forward to seeing many of you step forward as leaders in this upcoming election. Respectfully, CWO4 Rob Resendes President Chief Warrant and Warrant Officers Association, USCG
