Aviation Research Analyst

Position Description:
Analyst tasks related to—
• Supporting FAA and other government and non-government analysts and managers with safety analyses by combining advanced automation and analytical tools with the analyst’s aviation safety expertise;
• Providing meeting support, including organizing meeting logistics, attending meetings and drafting records of meetings, coordinating communications among meeting attendees/group members, and maintaining/updating working documents;
• Support FAA personnel with conducting briefings; and
• Supporting aviation-related research projects and special studies.

Qualifications:
Required—
• U.S. citizenship;
• A bachelor degree, preferably in an aviation-related field;
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in aviation operations (operations, flight management systems, avionics, and/or air traffic); and
• Knowledge of PC-based technologies, including Microsoft Office 2003 products.

Editor tasks related to—

There is an immediate opening at the 8th Coast Guard District Office in New Orleans for retired/retiring CG COMMS or ET/ELC (E7-W4).

Lake Express, LLC, a Milwaukee-based high speed ferry company, is seeking licensed Masters and Mates for service on our 191 Ft Passenger/Auto high speed catamaran. Candidates must possess as a minimum a 100 Ton Masters (NC) license, Unlimited Radar certification with APRA endorsement, Basic and Advanced firefighting, and Bridge Resource Management training. Our ship’s officers work 8 hrs shifts, 40to 50 hours per week. Positions are seasonal, April through October, but may be year-round for the ideal candidate. Electronics Supervisors for Tyco Cable Ships

Tyco Telecommunications has a fleet of cable ships providing global cable maintenance and installations. Positions are available for experienced electronics technicians capable of servicing radar, communication, navigation, computer networks, and upkeep of instrument calibration program. Base salary for this position is $60K while ship is tied up in US ports. While underway and in foreign ports, the Electronics Supervisor will earn field pay at the rate of 125% above the base salary.
